The hotel was quaint, I liked attractively furnished rooms and extremely friendly staff. The room with balcony overlooking sassi. The property was in the very central setting right in the midst of the caves. I stayed at this hotel for weekend, it was an amazing stay.

Beautifully restored hotel in the middle of the Sassi in old rooms carved into the hillside. The location could not really be better near San Pietro Caveoso and the edge of the gorge. From the door of our suite room there was a beatiful view at rock churches Madonna de Idris and San Giovanni in Monterrone. Parking possible (about 50 m) on Piazza San Pietro Caveoso (although not necessarily allowed...). Good basic breakfast with both sweet and savoury pastries. Excellent ratio price/quality.
The cleaning of the rooms could be better. The air exchange in the caves seems to be a bit problematic as well which shows somewhat in the decorations, especially in the bathroom.
